Xia Lingmin, President of the China Textile Industry Management Association, believes that Quanzhou, as the starting point of the maritime Silk Road, is one of the important cities in the construction of the "core area of the maritime Silk Road" in twenty-first Century and the "maritime silk road ahead area and strategic fulcrum city" of Fujian in twenty-first Century, and has an unparalleled geographical advantage in international trade and exchanges.
