The joint guidelines outline the steps to be taken to achieve the goal of global zero emissions of toxic chemicals in the supply chain in 2020.


Adidas Group, C&A, H&M, Li Ning, Nike Inc and Puma jointly announced the plan to plan new environmental standards for the global garment and footwear industry.

The plan includes specific commitments and timetables for achieving goals, such as the implementation of pilot plans for large vertical integration and fabric suppliers between 2011 and 2013 to understand the scope of toxic chemicals being discharged and used.
