It is reported that the Ministry of economic affairs standard Inspection Bureau of Taiwan (BSMI) has implemented mandatory inspection system for two categories of textile products, including production, sale or import to Taiwan.

Among them, clothing and accessories for infants and young children began to be implemented in July 1, 2011. Towels, sweaters, garments, swimsuits, socks and bedding will be implemented in January 1, 2012.

After the implementation of the system, Taiwan textile needs to meet a number of requirements to enter through the mandatory inspection system.

The market, including the Taiwan area standard "CNS 15290 textile safety specification (General requirements)", and the commodity inspection label on the products, tag or other packaging materials, the main testing items are free formaldehyde, AZO, lead content, cadmium content, organotin and so on.
