South Thames College opened a course last semester to teach girls to wear high-heeled shoes.
This elective course called "urban sexy high-heeled shoes" has received a warm response.
The school is considering whether to continue the next semester.
9 days ago, a school spokesman told Agence France-Presse: "this course is designed to help students improve their self-confidence.
Students learn how to wear high heels and "walk responsibly".
The spokesman said that the course ended in May, with 5 students selected last semester.
Selena Mistry, 16, said that after studying this class, he "no longer feels uncomfortable wearing high-heeled shoes," and "can walk as he likes."
