Nearly 100 footwear enterprises from the province took part in the meeting.

Reporters learned that in 2007, the 6395 batch of footwear products exported to Chengdu was worth 280 million US dollars, an increase of 83% over 2006.

In the first half of 2008, a total of 3376 footwear products were exported, with a value of US $167 million.

The new situation of international trade has put forward higher requirements for the quality of exported footwear.

In order to standardize the inspection and supervision of export footwear products, the Sichuan entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued the notice on Further Strengthening and standardizing the inspection and supervision of export footwear products.

It is reported that according to the new management measures, Sichuan's export footwear foreign trade enterprises will be divided into four categories, and the implementation of hierarchical supervision.

The inspection and supervision of export footwear products adopt "classification management + risk analysis + electronic supervision + daily inspection + whole process supervision + type test + key project spot check" mode, according to the enterprise category, product risk degree and so on, make daily inspection and supervision plan, content and frequency.

A class of enterprises with the least number of spot checks, the four types of enterprises will carry out the supervision of batch inspection, put forward rectification content for each supervision, rectify the deadline, and become the focus of the next supervision, and take into account the quality files of the enterprise.

In addition, the reporter also learned that the Sichuan entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau will carry out electronic supervision over one or two or three types of enterprises and set up corresponding spot checks according to different enterprise categories and product risk levels. The inspection and quarantine inspection required by electronic supervision and interception can be released after inspection and verification by the inspection and quarantine institution.

It is reported that at present, there are nearly three thousand footwear enterprises in Sichuan, but there are less than 100 enterprises engaged in the export of footwear products, and the number of enterprises incorporating electronic supervision is relatively small.
